Yes, you can pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI on Xbox Series X|S right now. Preorders opened June 25, 2026, following Rockstar’s June 18 Newswire announcement. Both digital editions are available through the Microsoft Store: Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99. There is no physical disc, so the Microsoft Store is the only Xbox preorder route, as detailed in our pre-order guide.
If you order before November 20, 2026, the Standard edition includes the Vintage Vice City Pack bonus. The Ultimate edition bundles that plus extra in-game cash and cosmetics, but no physical extras exist. Xbox Game Pass members do not get a special preorder discount or early access.
On Xbox, preloading will begin closer to the November 19, 2026 launch date. Rockstar has not confirmed file sizes for either console yet, so ignore community guesses about 150 GB. If you want the game day one on Xbox, the preorder is simple, but note the release date has shifted twice: from 2025 to May 26, 2026, and then to November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not called this date “final.” For more on supported hardware, check the platforms page.
