GTA 6 Cars and Vehicles Seen in Official Material

Rockstar has never published a GTA 6 vehicle list, so this one is built the only honest way: from what is actually visible in the cover art, the official screenshots, the two trailers and the 26 minute gameplay video. Filter by class, and read the source column for where each one appears.

This list is deliberately incomplete. It only holds vehicles that can be pointed at in official material, so a car glimpsed for four frames in traffic is in as a traffic entry rather than as a model. It grows with every new screenshot and video.

How GTA 6 cars drive, based on the footage

The gameplay video published in August 2026 is the only official material that shows vehicles in motion for any length of time, and the driving in it is visibly heavier than GTA 5. Cars pitch under braking and squat under power, the body keeps rolling for a moment after a corner is finished, and grip is lost gradually rather than in a single snap. Damage accumulates panel by panel across a chase instead of appearing in stages.

Motorcycles get separate treatment. Riders shift their weight into corners, and the difference between a road bike on tarmac and an enduro bike in mud is obvious in both the animation and the line the bike takes. The Mount Kalaga screenshot, with four riders and a quad in a mud pit, is the clearest still of that side of the game.

Water and air both matter more than in previous entries, which follows from the map. Leonida is a coastal state with island keys and wetlands, so boats appear in three of the six official screenshots, and the two aircraft that appear are a floatplane and a helicopter on floats rather than runway machines. The map page lays out how much of the state is water.

Nothing has been announced about tuning, garages, insurance or vehicle ownership. Those systems existed in GTA 5 and are widely expected back, but expectation is all they are until Rockstar says something.

Why there are no GTA 6 car names yet

Grand Theft Auto vehicles have always used invented marques, so a car that looks like a Lamborghini is sold under a name Rockstar owns. Those names are usually revealed at launch or shortly before it, on the in game websites and in the store listings. None have been published for this game.

That leaves two bad options and one good one. Repeating names taken from the 2022 development build would mean publishing material from a theft, and those names were placeholders in an unfinished build anyway. Inventing names would be worse. So this page describes each vehicle by what it is, and the real world lookalike column does the job people actually want, which is knowing what a thing is based on.

Lists elsewhere that give confident names and statistics for dozens of GTA 6 cars are drawing on that leaked build or on guesswork. Our position on the whole 2022 incident, and which claims from it turned out to hold, is set out on the leaks page.

How this list is updated

Three rules keep it usable:

  • Official material only. A vehicle goes in when it appears in Rockstar artwork, an official screenshot, a trailer or the gameplay video, and the source column says which.
  • Descriptive names. Entries are renamed to the official name the moment Rockstar publishes one, and not before.
  • Classes stay broad. Seven classes cover everything shown so far. Finer categories wait for the in game ones.

Expect this page to grow quickly in the weeks before November 19, 2026, since marketing volume rises sharply near a launch. Anything new lands in the news feed first, then here. For the hardware side, the platforms page lists what the game runs on, and the release date page covers the schedule.
