Yes, GTA 6 got delayed twice. Rockstar originally promised a 2025 release in Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023), with no season attached. In late 2025, the company pushed it to May 26, 2026. Then, in early 2026, it moved again to November 19, 2026, which is the current locked date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as detailed on the release date page.
The second delay came with an official Newswire post, but Rockstar never called the new date “final.” So while November 19, 2026 is the confirmed launch day, the word “final” is not something the studio used. Preorders opened June 25, 2026 after the second delay was announced on June 18, 2026.
What this means practically: if you preordered the Standard Edition before November 20, 2026, you get the Vintage Vice City Pack. No PC version exists yet, so no PC delay applies. The console version is what shipped twice.
