Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed twice. Rockstar originally targeted 2025, as stated in Trailer 1, but in May 2025 they pushed the release to May 26, 2026. On February 5, 2026, they delayed it again to November 19, 2026, which is now listed on the release date page.
The second delay was announced in a Newswire post citing the need for more polish. The game is now set for a simultaneous worldwide release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is still no PC version announced.
Digital preorders opened June 25, 2026. The Standard edition costs $79.99, the Ultimate $99.99. No physical disc is planned.
Rockstar has not used the word “final” about the November date, so another slip is theoretically possible, but no further delays have been reported.
