Rockstar and Take-Two have not published any revenue or unit sales figures for Grand Theft Auto VI since its November 19, 2026 release date is still ahead. The game launches in about two and a half months, so there is nothing to report in official financial statements yet.
What does exist are third-party estimates. Industry trackers like VG Insights and analyst notes have speculated that pre-orders could generate between $1 billion and $1.5 billion globally before launch, based on the $79.99 Standard and $99.99 Ultimate editions. But those are projections, not confirmed numbers. Take-Two’s last earnings call, in August 2026, mentioned strong pre-order momentum but did not give a dollar figure.
For context, Grand Theft Auto V earned $1 billion in retail sales within three days of its September 2013 launch. GTA 6 is digital-only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which changes the accounting, but Rockstar has not said whether it will beat that pace. Any “made so far” claim you see online is guesswork until Take-Two reports after the launch quarter.
