Take-Two Interactive has not published an official revenue forecast for GTA 6. The most widely cited estimate comes from investment bank DFC Intelligence, which projected $3.2 billion in first-year sales back in May 2025. That figure assumes roughly 20 million copies sold in the first 12 months, plus in-game spending, but it is a third-party prediction, not a company number.
Other analysts have floated ranges from $2.5 billion to $4 billion for the first year. Those estimates vary because they weigh different factors: the $79.99 standard price, the $99.99 Ultimate edition, digital-only distribution, and the absence of a PC launch on day one. GTA V has sold over 210 million copies since 2013 and still generates hundreds of millions annually through GTA Online, so the long-term ceiling for GTA 6 is unusually high.
What is certain is that preorders opened June 25, 2026, and the launch is set for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Any revenue talk beyond that is speculation until Take-Two reports actual numbers, likely in early fiscal 2027 earnings.
