Yes, Grand Theft Auto VI preorders opened on June 25, 2026, right after the official announcement in Rockstar’s Newswire on June 18, 2026. You can preorder the digital-only game today on PlayStation 5, including PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. There is no physical disc edition, so your purchase lives in the storefront of your console.
Two editions are on sale. The Standard edition costs $79.99. The Ultimate edition costs $99.99 and bundles in extra in-game content, though Rockstar has not detailed every item in that pack beyond the usual bonus vehicles and cosmetics. There is no Deluxe, Special, or Collector’s edition, so if you see those listed anywhere, it is a scam or a placeholder.
Preordering the Standard edition before November 20, 2026, gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack. On PlayStation Store, preordering also includes one month of GTA+. For a full breakdown of what each edition includes, check out our pre-order guide.
As for timing, you can preorder right now, and the game launches November 19, 2026, worldwide. PC preorders are not possible because Rockstar has not announced a PC version.
