Yes, on day one GTA 6 is a console-only release. The game arrives simultaneously worldwide on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S. A PC edition has not been announced or dated by Rockstar, and any talk of a 2027 window is pure speculation.
All digital versions are sold without a physical disc. The Standard edition is priced at $79.99, while the Ultimate edition goes for $99.99. Preorders opened June 25, 2026, and the Standard preorder bonus is the Vintage Vice City Pack, available if you order before November 20. PlayStation Store preorders also include a free month of GTA+.
No Deluxe, Special, or Collector’s editions exist, so those names you see floating around are not real. If you want GTA 6 at launch, your only options are the two consoles above, and you’ll need a digital storefront to buy it. For a full breakdown of where the game will run, check the platforms page.
