Preordering GTA 6 gets you two things: the Vintage Vice City Pack (a cosmetic and vehicle bundle) with the $79.99 Standard edition, and a free month of GTA+ if you buy through the PlayStation Store. The $99.99 Ultimate edition adds a story mode bonus, a weapon skin set, and a custom car, but no early access or exclusive missions. If those extras matter to you, preordering before November 20, 2026 is the only way to get the pack, so check our pre-order guide for the full breakdown.
There is no physical disc, so you are not reserving a copy. You are just paying ahead for a digital license. Rockstar delayed the game twice, from 2025 to May 26, 2026, then to November 19, 2026. They have never said the new date is final. If delays happen again, your preorder is refundable until release, but you tie up $80 or $100 for months.
If you are on PC, do not preorder. There is no PC version announced, no system requirements, and no release window. The last GTA came to PC 19 months after console. If you usually play on PC, wait for that announcement. If you own a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S and want the bonus content, preordering is safe. If you are unsure, wait for reviews on day one. Digital copies will not sell out.
