Rockstar confirmed GTA 6 will hit PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. That is the complete launch lineup of platforms: no PlayStation 4, no Xbox One, and no PC edition has been announced or dated. The game ships digitally only, so there is no disc version for either console.
Preorders opened June 25, 2026, following the official announcement on June 18. The Standard edition is priced at $79.99, while the Ultimate edition runs $99.99. A Deluxe, Special, or Collector’s edition does not exist. Preordering the Standard edition before November 20 includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, and PS Store preorders add a month of GTA+.
What about PC and online?
No PC release window has been given by Rockstar or Take-Two, so any 2027 rumors remain unconfirmed. The game launches as a single-player experience, with no standalone online mode announced. Rockstar’s 2023 purchase of Cfx.re (FiveM and RedM) does not imply modding tools for this title.
All versions share the same release date worldwide, so no console gets an early head start.
