Grand Theft Auto VI comes out on November 19, 2026, worldwide on the same day. Rockstar confirmed this date in June 2026, after twice delaying the game from an original 2025 window. The title is digital only, with no physical disc at launch.
Launch platforms are PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S. No PC release has been confirmed or given a date. Take-Two and Rockstar have not given any window for a PC release, unlike GTA V, which reached PC 19 months after its September 2013 console launch. Anything about a 2027 PC port is speculation.
Preorders opened June 25, 2026. The Standard edition is $79.99, the Ultimate edition is $99.99. Ordering Standard before November 20 gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack, plus a month of GTA+ if you buy through PS Store.
There is no separate online mode announced for GTA 6. The game ships as a single-player title. Rockstar has not confirmed or dated anything resembling GTA Online 2, and reports of mod tools or custom servers remain unconfirmed.
