Xbox Game Pass will not include Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar has not announced any subscription deal, and the game launches exclusively as a paid digital title on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Neither Microsoft nor Rockstar has hinted at adding it to Game Pass later, so treat any such claim as pure speculation.

If you are hoping for a Game Pass-style freebie, there is no alternative. The single-player campaign is the entire product, and no separate online mode has been announced for GTA 6, with all platforms confirmed to be PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar’s purchase of Cfx.re in 2023 does not change this, as no modding or server tools for the new game have been revealed.
