GTA 6 is digital-only, so there is no physical inventory to run out. Preorders on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will remain open right up to launch on November 19, 2026, and the game will stay purchasable after release. Rockstar has not announced any cap on preorder numbers.
What can change is the bonus. The Standard edition’s Vintage Vice City Pack is tied to ordering before November 20, 2026. If you want that extra content, you have a deadline, so check the pre-order guide for details. The Ultimate edition at $99.99 has no such cutoff listed, but its price is fixed and it is the only way to get the extra in-game items.
If you are waiting, nothing stops you from ordering on launch day. The only risk is missing the preorder bonus, not missing the game itself. If you are unsure about the PC version, note it is not announced, so buying on console now does not lock you out of anything confirmed.
