Grand Theft Auto VI is still unreleased on September 1, 2026. The confirmed launch date is November 19, 2026, worldwide on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Digital preorders opened June 25, 2026, and the game is digital-only, so there is no physical disc.
Rockstar delayed the game twice. It was originally set for 2025, then moved to May 26, 2026, and finally to November 19, 2026. No further delays have been announced, but Rockstar has not called this date “final.”
There is no PC version announced or dated. Everything about a PC port, including system requirements, is speculation. The game launches single-player only, with no online mode confirmed for launch or beyond.
