Lucia
The first female protagonist in a mainline Grand Theft Auto since the series moved to 3D. Trailer 1 opens on her inside a correctional facility, and the material shown since presents her as the more calculating half of the partnership. Her full story lives in our answer on who Lucia is.
Jason
Lucia’s partner, shown living in Leonida and drawn into the same escalating run of crimes. The trailers give him less setup than Lucia, which may be deliberate pacing or may simply reflect what Rockstar chose to show first.
What Rockstar has been careful not to say
- How the story splits its time between them.
- Whether you switch freely, as GTA V allowed, or at fixed points.
- Who else is playable, if anyone.
- How the relationship ends - and every trailer beat suggests that question is the point of the game.
The supporting cast
Several recurring faces have appeared across the trailers and the extended gameplay video without being formally introduced by name and role in a press release.
