No one leaked GTA 6. Rockstar officially revealed the game with Trailer 1 on December 4, 2023, and that remains the only confirmed announcement path. The September 2022 hack that dumped 90 early development videos was a security breach, not a leak in the traditional sense. Rockstar confirmed the hack, called it a network intrusion, and said the footage was unfinished. Those clips showed pre-alpha builds with placeholder animations, so they were never representative of the final game.
Since then, a few unofficial screenshots and clips have surfaced online, mostly from testers or store backend data. Rockstar has not acknowledged any of those as real. The only officially released material is Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025), and the 26-minute Extended Look from August 27, 2026. Everything else, including map claims and character details, is either community speculation or unverified rumor.
If you see a “leaked” GTA 6 video today, it is almost certainly fake or recycled from the 2022 hack. Trust the official Rockstar Newswire and the three official videos only.
