Michael De Santa is not in GTA 6. Rockstar has not announced any returning characters from Grand Theft Auto V, and both trailers plus the Extended Look feature only new protagonists, Lucia and Jason. The game is set in Leonida (a fictional Florida) in the modern day, but there is no official word that Michael or any other V character appears.
The Extended Look from August 27, 2026, shows a standalone story with new characters and locations. Rockstar has said GTA 6 is a new entry in the series, not a continuation of V’s narrative. That makes a Michael cameo unlikely, though not impossible until the game ships.
